More Ducks for English Cricketers...
After watching Australia beat England in their ICC Champions Trophy clash on Saturday, we headed off to the Wickford Country Park (about 200m from home) to feed the local ducks. The boys very bravely wore their Aussie Cricket shirts, but as it turned out the ducks were not offended.Today we headed off to London again, this time the aim was the Science Museum. It was dull, overcast and drizzly when we arrived, but after a fruitful few hours (including seeing the original Watson and Crick DNA model), we emerged around 3pm into brilliant sunshine. We walked and bused our way to Buckingham Palace, then trained our way back to Wickford. A great day out. On Friday we go with our Welsh guide Gareth to Wales for a couple of nights. We are driving Gareth there to pick up his Grandad's campervan, and then we retire to the Brecon Beacons National Park for a couple of days poking around Cymru. I will post some London shots before we go...
