That' Snow Good

A quick pic at 7:10am this morning out the door as snow was falling. You can see a light dusting on the ground. The Mondeo is clear because it has had a bucket of warm water thrown over it, but Chris and Sam's Lexus is a little white on top! We have had -2 overnight and about 4 degrees tops during the day. The boys have enjoyed the experience of walking to school in the snow (SEE GRANDPA!!) and throwing snow/ice balls at each other. The weather is supposed to be quite "mild" this weekend, maybe even up to 8 degrees for our trip to Bath! We are getting used to the whole hat, coat, scarf, gloves regime, but also planning a trip to warmer climes for the "half-term" break in February - Turkey, Egypt and Portugal currently on the agenda.
I have been negotiating to stay on at the Mill Rd campus of The Plume - which I think is quite "do-able" for the next year or two. Watch this space for more news on this situation in the next week or so. Have a great weekend y'all, and a nice Australia Day tomorrow - The Pecks.

Comments:
Hi
Looks like your Australia Day (Anniversary - happy 16th ) was a lot different to our 40degree day.
We have my brother visiting at the moment, so have been flat out entertaining/ sight seeing as well as fitting in our usual daily activities.
We got back from a week at Rottnest on Wednesday, it was a great break. Ross goes away tomorrow and will change employers on the 5th Feb.
Will phone next weekend when life gets back to relative normality,
Will be able to give you the first few days of high school news.
Take Care
Anne
