Hi everybody its Jackson
I haven't blogged for a while and quite a lot of things have happened since then that I can talk about. Last weekend we went to Nottingham which was interesting, in Nottingham we managed to get to Sherwood forest as well as some other interesting places like these caves underneath a shopping centre how silly is that, it was pretty cheesy but it was only 3 pounds so what do you expect. When we bought the ticket for the caves we also bought a ticket for this place known as The Galleries of Justice which was very interesting and it was good because there was only two other people besides Mitchell, mum and I. In there I got to be a judge for a case which was fun and also we got to see this big guy crack a nine tails (whip thingy) and also a midget lady who was cranky. We did this while dad was at Donnington, the race track getting ripped off by young people. That night we had some delicious Indian food in a town (where we were staying). We found this place by asking a man who ended up stalking us for ages which was kinda funny but scary, he kept running up to us and telling us another food place he missed out, then he would run back to where he was and think of another place before chasing us again. Actually that whole town was full of weird people who kept staring at us. After our Indian we had a game of pool (we were supposed to have 3 but we take so long to get the balls in we could only have 1) and then went to sleep. On the Sunday we went to Sherwood forest where I got to have a turn with a bow and arrow and i got a dinosaur in the neck and popped a balloon which was very fun. Also we saw some small and cute squirrels chasing each other which was good. That day we left to go back to Wickford and spent 6 hours on the same road mostly because there was a traffic jam and it got very boring. So that was our short but enjoyable weekend in Nottingham. Then on Tuesday I attended this event at The Basildon council centre which was where we had to get in groups and do quizzes as well as creating a political party for young people. We then had to campaign out message to fellow students as well as members of of the Basildon district council, and guess who won?......... WE DID!!!! It was very surprising but was good because we got a HMV voucher (a music shop with DVDs and other things like Sanity). Also we got a picture with the mayor that might be in the newspaper. It was a fun day out and we missed school!!
The next day I had a cricket game which had to be the worst cricket game of my life!! It was terrible first of all because we turned up half an hour late and i was supposed to bowl first and the bowling order was all mixed up. Then it was a tiny pitch and the weather was extremely bad with huge storms. When you stepped on the pitch half your shoe sunk in well a bit of an exaggeration but it was really bad. In the end we had to play through a storm and it was raining very hard but the umpires kept going as the other team wanted to win but now they are in big trouble.
The next day I had district sports day which was interesting and very hard. It was full of big people which were very competitive and very good at running and other events. I was put into the 100 metres just before it started and couldn't warm up properly so then my leg went funny for the rest of the day and it still is. I had to compete in relay and triple jump throughout the day which i did ok in since my leg couldn't move properly, we somehow got into the relay final but i couldn't compete in it because of my leg but we were thrashed because the other teams were so strong.
So that's what I have been up to.... Cya jackson
