What do you do when you meet a screen legend like Morgan Freeman? Well, it seems it is de rigeur to reach up and pinch his cheeks! He seems a little less than enthused about the encounter with the "cheeky" Australian, but Kym is clearly pleased to achieve this lifelong ambition.
On Saturday we trooped into Waterloo Station to meet Stan and Ruby Groves (contemporaries of Mum and Dad, with shared Portland history) and we spent a pleasant couple of hours catching up over pasta and coffee.
We then went to Leicester Square and caught up with Warwick, dined in Chinatown, and then saw the Tony Award winning "The Lazy Chaperone" at the Novello Theatre - what a hoot! A late night coffee and then two bleary-eyed boys were escorted back to Wickford to dream the dreams of the innocent.
On Wednesday we are off to France, etc., and so this blog will shut down for about three weeks. We look forward to catching up with you upon our return! Ciao!
