Teenagers 2 - Parents 0
Sadly our local family score shown above wasn't repeated when we went to visit Watford v Bristol City at Vicarage Rd last night. The last item of the long 13th birthday celebration ended with Bristol City (Boooooo) taking out an historic win against Watford; the first in 14 years! Nonetheless, we enjoyed the night out, arcing up the Mondeo for a swing around the M25, down the M1 into Watford, park and walk to the ground for a 5:20pm kickoff. It had been raining on the trip (and hard!), but amazingly we had clear skies for the rest of the night. The first half was a bit slow, but we saw three goals, some high quality soccer, and plenty of action in the second half. We had great seats and were just a few metres from the pitch. The photo was taken whilst waiting for our table at Marco Polo Indian Restaurant in Wickford on Friday night (part two of the long celebration). Mitchell has had a great birthday, and would like to thank all the well wishers and present senders who have made this milestone such a great occasion!
Love to all - Ant and family
P.S. It has come to our attention that some (er, perhaps elderly) blog users are not sure what the blue underlined text is all about. Throughout the blog, I have linked stories, pictures, encyclopedia entries, and all manner of relevant and trivial details to each blog. To access them, simply place your mouse over the text, and click! Your back arrow button on your browser should take you back here when you are finished. An example from today is the history behind the Vicarage Road Ground. Enjoy!

Hello all
Pity about Watford but I'm sure it was a good day out with his friends. Mitchell looks a handsome teenager with his new t shirt and does his face seem to be lacking some facial hair?
Not long to more holidays - what a life.
