What a corker!

Hi Blogsters! I am blogging from an internet cafe just below the Cobh Cathedral in Cork (see pic). Cobh is pronounced "Cove" in the Irish tradition of mixing all the letters up more or less randomly (c.f. Siobhan and Niamh).
We are now finished in Wickford, and it was a mad rush to get all the cleaning and clearing done on time, but in the end we managed it with 20 minutes (!!) to spare. We then jumped into a waiting taxi and arrived at Stansted in good time to make the flight to Cork. We had to endure all the usual ballyhoo associated with modern flight - including Kym being detained for having dangerous and potentially fatal liquids in her handbag (otherwise known as handcream). Well, as long as they are seen to be doing something I suppose we are all safe from those nefarious terrorist types! I always thought Kym looked a bit shifty.
We are now ensconced in Carrigaline for the next few days, mostly for relaxation and battery charging, although we do hope to get out and see a few of the local attractions. Will keep you "posted".
Cheers - Ant
