A wee Dram and a lot of rain!
We dropped into Glasgow for 24 hours and had a great time, mainly at the Museum! Then off to Arbroath and explorations around the area, including Glamis Castle. Finally Edinburgh beckoned, where we took in the Military Tattoo - a fantastic show. The boys enjoyed some of the antics of the locals in Glasgow and the fringe festival performers in Edinburgh. The picture shown is from Carlton Hill's Nelson Monument overlooking Edinburgh, and you should be able to make out Edinburgh Castle on the hill in the background. We then spent two amazingly "wintry" nights in the Scottish Highlands (Dalwhinnie) but luckily had the local drink to keep us warm! Seems like we are on the home stretch now - see you all soon? Ant.
